Winter Feed & Supplies Drive

Support Carolina Animal Haven Through Our Local Tractor Supply Account

As the winter season approaches, the daily operational and feed costs at Carolina Animal Haven increase significantly. Our rescue currently provides sanctuary, rehabilitation, and lifetime care for 7 resident horses (including 2 draft horses), 4 donkeys, and a variety of domestic rescue animals including dogs, cats, chickens, and ducks.

To streamline donations and eliminate the logistical challenge of hauling heavy feed, we have established a direct donation partnership with Tractor Supply Co. in Lancaster, South Carolina. You can support our residents directly by purchasing essential winter feed and supplies over the phone, which our team will collect during our scheduled weekly maintenance pickups.

How to Donate Over the Phone:

Call the Store: Contact the Lancaster Tractor Supply directly at (803) 283-4100.
Specify Our Account: Inform the store associate that you would like to purchase items to be placed on the donation hold list for Carolina Animal Haven.
Select Items & Complete Order: Choose any items from our active winter inventory list below to complete your tax-deductible purchase over the phone.

Active Winter Wishlist:

Equine Care: Producer's Pride Senior Horse Feed, Safe Starch forage/grain bags, Premium Alfalfa/Timothy Hay Pellets, and 40 lb. Salt/Mineral Blocks.
Poultry Care: Purina Scratch Grains and Layer Crumbles.
Domestic/Barn Care: Meow Mix Dry Cat Food and Dry Dog Food (Beef or Lamb formulas).

Direct Farm Donations

If you are a local producer and wish to donate clean, high-quality square or round hay bales directly to our facility at Ford Nook Farm in Kershaw, SC, please contact us through our website form or call us to coordinate a drop-off time.

Carolina Animal Haven is an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations made through our Tractor Supply account or directly to the farm qualify for full charitable tax deductions. Financial receipts can be provided upon request.
